Learn about this dynamic IAS officer, Srushti Deskmukh

Srushti Deshmukh is beginning preparations for the UPSC entrance in her third year of her engineering degree. She questioned whether engineering was an appropriate career path for her. It was later discovered that her dream job was in civil service and started to focus on it. The parents of her encouraged her to focus on civil work and to find a job serving the people. She did not lose motivation as she remained focused on her goal of becoming an IAS. In order for UPSC to be successful it is more work required. She also prepared for UPSC exams while studying engineering. Each day she would set aside time to work on her preparation for the test. In less than one month and a half, she prepared for her exam in engineering and also stayed away from social media. She believes that focusing on the task at hand is key to passing this exam. She worked hard to achieve her aim of passing the test at first try. To keep up to date with recent events she would regularly go through newspapers. Rajya Sabha TV and online study materials were also a great help to her. IAS Srushti Deskmukh IAS Srushti Deskmukh authored a second book titled, The Answer Writing Manual. The book is in all state libraries. It's a fantastic resource for IAS students who are studying for the test. The pages on their social media are frequently updated with news from her husband regarding the two of them.
